United Purchases Praters

United Supermarkets has purchased a longtime Lubbock ready-to-eat food company. United has acquired Praters Foods, which employs about twenty-five people. Eddie Owens, United’s Director of Communications discussed the purchase and the current Praters employees. “Praters employees immediately become members of the United team, and frankly, we see that number growing in days ahead as we expand our operations and move some of our operations out to the Praters plant.”
