Texas Tech’s Board of Regents meets today and tomorrow to consider raising tuition, among other things. Much of the extra money would go to raises for faculty and staff. The regents will also consider a project to remove hazardous materials from the Administration Building and make the building more accessible to handicapped people. Another project would add two floors and 18,000 square feet to the Center for Human Performance, providing such amenities as a new weight room, jogging track and art.
