Vocational Ag Teachers Conference in Town

Lubbock is currently hosting the Vocational Agricultural Teachers Association of Texas professional development conference. The Lubbock Memorial Civic Center is serving as headquarters for the two thousand agricultural education teachers, families, exhibitors, and guests. This conference gives agricultural science teachers the opportunity to enhance their current teaching methods and keep up with the latest developments and technology. They’re visiting local places such as the American Cotton Growers, the American Wind Power Center and American Museum of Agriculture, and the Cactus feed yards. The conference runs through Friday.
