Clinics to provide immunization assistance
The Texas Department of State Health Services recently adopted new immunization requirements for students entering kindergarten and seventh grade. The City of Lubbock Health Department will be conducting immunization clinics at the times and locations listed below. The cost is $10 for one immunization or $15 for two or more. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.
Thursday, August 6 – St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 3708 45th Street (45th and Memphis), from 2-6 p.m.
Thursday, August 13 – The South Plains Mall, 6002 Slide Road (South Loop 289 and Slide), from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Monday-Friday, August 17-21 – The Health Department Immunization Clinic, 1902 Texas Avenue (19th and Texas), will have extended hours the week before school starts. Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. and on Friday from 12-2 p.m.
