2 Injured Outside Local Restaurant

Two people are reported injured, one critically, after being hit in the street by two cars outside a Lubbock restaurant after 2 this morning. One car fled the scene across from the Conference Café in the 3200 block of 4th Street but later returned. Another car which had hit the people was located at the Park Apartments on 50th Street. A 21-year-old man identified as Joey Lozano was critically injured. A 27-year-old woman also was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. It was not clear why the two people were in the street.
