First Ever Newly Published Local Author Sherrie Spychaj releases her new Booklet “Staying Safe”!
Inspired by putting together a benefit luncheon for the Woman’s Protective Service in July of 2009 and the need to help victims of abuse Ms. Spychaj has committed her time and efforts to give back to the community by publishing this new booklet. As a former victim of abuse, local business owner, cancer survivor and veteran from the military she has written an inspiring booklet from life experiences and research that could help others stay safe. It has powerful and necessary tools for safety that everyone could benefit from. It reaches out to anyone who might be in an abusive relationship, being stalked, safety on the streets, with children, work, home in the car and much more. “If just one idea in this book saves just one life, you have done an amazing thing.”
Meet Sherrie Spychaj the newly published local author of “Staying Safe” on Saturday, August 8th from 10 am to 2pm, when Sherrie Spychaj opens the doors and will be available to autograph her new booklet “Staying Safe”.
The event will be held at Awesome Books 3009 A 34th st Lubbock
