New Gallery in Lubbock with Movie Props
Flat 12 Gallery was just accepted on the “First Friday Art Trail” and will be having a Gallery event on August 8, 2009 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Flat 12 Gallery is a new Gallery that opened in June at 3207 34th Street between Indiana and University. They house many nationally acclaimed artists work from Steve Kaufman (understudy to Andy Warhol) to Hollyworx acrylic pieces from Italy.
Local artist Billet Proof Customs and his “one-off” Café Racer, will show his automotive prints and discuss custom renderings of your hot rod. Gallery artist “Itchy” will have custom “One-shot” pieces on display and has limited space available to book your one pinstriping season.
The gallery features a compete indoor photo studio large enough to get that shot of you car or motorcycle. The Studio also houses your selection of Damask and Muslin backgrounds to create the look you want. Photographers Cloudstone Photography and nationally published photographer Meggan Bailey are available to fit your needs. Or reserve the studio and expand your own portfolio.
Flat 12 Gallery has Movie Props from the Dive Tank from Cave to the Faux gun used by Keanu Reeves in the movie “Speed” to the Transformers Mustang Movie Car Barricade.
Various Die cast and signature pieces are displayed throughout the gallery for Car Buff or Die Cast Collector or Art aficionados.
