The Buddy Holly Center and Alderson Auto Group are excited to present Beth
Wood as part of the BHC’s Summer Showcase, the weekly Thursday night concert
series held in the Meadows Courtyard. On July 30, 2009, from 5:30 -
7:30p.m., Beth Wood will return to her native Lubbock to perform for the
Summer Showcase crowd. The concert is FREE and open to the public. A cash
bar will be available for the crowd’s enjoyment. Please, no outside
beverages or coolers are allowed.

caution and her day-job to the wind to become a full-time musician. Twelve
years, thousands of shows, seven albums, three cars, and numerous awards

is originally from Lubbock, TX. The talented songwriter released her
seventh CD, Beachcomber’s Daughter, in February 2008 to impressive reviews.

The 2009 Summer Showcase concert series runs from May 28 – September 3.
Performances are held every Thursday evening from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the
Meadows Courtyard. Summer Showcase is made possible by the generous support
